The Center for English Language and American Culture (CELAC) at the University of New Mexico (UNM) offers an intensive English program for international students. Founded in 1889, UNM is a research-oriented comprehensive university with a strong commitment to international engagement. CELAC has provided intensive English education for international students since 1978. In 2026, CELAC will offer an 8-week online program designed to help students improve their academic English skills. This program is especially suitable for students who wish to strengthen their academic writing, reading, grammar, and conversational English. Students can study with professional university instructors without leaving their home country.
