Review the Admission Guidelines

To assist our applicants to apply to our school and understand the programs with clear instructions, we have designed the NDHU Admission Guidelines for you.

National Dong Hwa University International Students Admission Guidelines 國立東華大學外國學生招生簡章

 

Note: If you are interested in applying for admission to transfer to NDHU, please refer to our Admission Guidelines for Transfer Programs(國立東華大學外國學生轉學招生簡章) for detailed information. 

✓ Step 1 : Get an Online Application Account

Create the account at the admission application system. 

Please note :
1. We DO NOT accept application by hard copy.
2. All application procedures should be done on the application system. 
3. If you have ever created an account, please set up a NEW account by using a different email address. 
4. Login to your application account to check on the admission result. (The dates is in the Admission Guidelines.)
5. We DO NOT accept any submission later than the application deadline.

 

✓ Step 2 : Complete the Application Form

Choose Your Program

NDHU offers a wide range of programs to build an educational experience that is tailored to you. You can apply for up to two programs.

Apply for School’s Scholarships 

If applicants would like to apply for NDHU scholarship, please check “yes” in the online application system.
No extra documents are needed. NDHU Southward Scholarship is only for PhD applicants.
** Taiwan Scholarship awardees are not allowed to apply for NDHU scholarships.

The scholarship results will be released together with the admission application results.

 

✓ Step 3 : Pay the Application Fee

1200 NTD Application Fee

Please note:
1. You must pay an application fee of 1200 NTD by the deadline indicated in order for your application to be processed. 
2. Every application requests application fee. (the payment will not be transferred to later action or semester’s application).
3. The application fee is non-refundable.

Payment Method

Domestic payment

    •  ATM payment
      (for those who can pay at the Bank in Taiwan)
      Step 1. print out the domestic payment form, (1) bring it to any Bank of Taiwan branch in Taiwan, and pay at the counter, or (2) use the bank card to transfer the money at any ATM in Taiwan. (It may take 1-2 working days to complete.)

      Step 2. After successfully completing the transaction, please upload the payment slip on the application system.

Domestic payment &  International payment

    • Online Credit Card Payment
      please  note:
      1. should make sure your card is available for international transaction and pay in other currency.
      2. After completing the payment, if the system is not allowing you to proceed to the next step, please do not rush to do another payment but wait for the system to process for 1-2 mins.
      3. No need to upload the payment slip.

 

✓ Step 4 : Submit the Required Documents

I’ve applied, what’s next? 我已送出申請，接下來呢?

 

You’ve successfully submitted your application, supporting documents, and application fee. NDHU primarily conducts application reviews in written form. However, applicants from certain countries applying for bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral programs, as well as all doctoral program applicants who pass the written review, must also participate in an interview review conducted by the respective departments or colleges. These interviews are typically conducted via video or phone. 

 

Please await further communication from the relevant departments or colleges regarding the interview schedule.

 

If you’ve already completed the interview, now is the perfect time to plan your finances and consider visiting our campus to get a glimpse of life at NDHU. Remember to check your application results in the admission application system on the specified result announcement date.

 

您已提交了申請、相關文件並支付了申請費用。國立東華大學（NDHU）主要是透過書面審查申請件，然而針對來自特定國家的學士、碩士及博士班申請人，以及所有通過書面審查的博士班申請人，仍需要參加由各院系進行的面談審查，這些面談通常通過視訊或電話進行，請耐心等待各院系聯繫您並安排面談時間。

 

如果您已完成面談，現在是時候規劃您的財務，並考慮親自來校參觀，提前感受一下NDHU的校園生活。並請於結果公告日期，登入招生申請系統並查詢您的申請結果。
