Int'l Program
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be currently enrolled students at our university during the exchange period.
Graduating students must maintain student status during the exchange period, either by having an approved extension of study or by having been admitted to and completed enrollment procedures for a graduate program at our university.
Applicants must meet the requirements set by the partner exchange institution.
Application Procedures:
Step 1: Complete internal registration and submit required documents to the Office of International Affairs.
Step 2: Apply through the partner institution’s designated application system.
Step 3: Wait for review and admission results from the partner institution.
Please note: The application procedures and req0uired documents may vary for each exchange program. Students must follow the specific instructions provided in each program announcement.
Responsibilities and Obligations
- Participants must thoroughly read and comply with the guidelines set by our university and the partner institution. Please ensure availability for the entire duration of the program and adhere to the designated travel dates. Do not apply if you cannot participate in full or travel as scheduled.
- Once the list of selected participants is announced, the group must appoint a team leader and notify the Office of International Affairs (OIA) by email within the specified deadline. The team leader will assist with tasks such as: coordinating group flight details with OIA, organizing pre-departure meetings for presentations and performances, and taking attendance during group activities.
- Students attending the same camp must travel together on the same flights for both arrival and departure to facilitate airport pick-up and drop-off by the host institution.
- Participants must secure their own passports and, if applicable, Mainland Travel Permits for Taiwan Residents (only for programs in China), and submit a copy to OIA by the specified deadline.
- Participants are required to purchase overseas travel insurance covering the entire program period prior to departure.
- Male students with military service obligations must apply for overseas travel clearance in advance. Please refer to: https://www.ris.gov.tw/departure/app/Departure/main
- Participants may be asked to give group presentations or perform at farewell events as part of the partner institution’s schedule. Please prepare accordingly. Presentations may cover your university, academic field, Taiwanese culture, and personal experiences. Reference materials from OIA are available.
- A written reflection following the partner institution’s report format must be submitted within one month of completing the program. Failure to submit by the deadline will result in ineligibility for future exchange program applications.
