Announcement of the 2026 (ROC Year 115) MOE Government Scholarship for Overseas Study Examination

The Ministry of Education (MOE) has officially announced the application guidelines for the 2026 Government Scholarship for Overseas Study Examination. Students who are interested in pursuing a doctoral degree abroad are encouraged to apply.

This year's examination is divided into two categories:

• Five Trusted Industries Fields
• Non–Five Trusted Industries Fields

For the Five Trusted Industries Fields, applicants will undergo document screening followed by an interview, with increased financial support for tuition and living expenses.

For the Non–Five Trusted Industries Fields, the selection process remains a written examination followed by an interview.

Important Schedule

• Online Application:
  July 15, 2026 (Wed), 8:00 AM – July 31, 2026 (Fri), 5:00 PM
• Written Examination (Non–Five Trusted Industries Fields):
  October 3, 2026
• Document Screening (Five Trusted Industries Fields):
  Late September to Early October 2026
• Interviews:
  December 5–6, 2026
• Announcement of Results:
  December 31, 2026
