The Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association is offering the 2027 Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association Scholarship (Short-Term Students) – First Application Round. Eligible students planning to participate in exchange programs in Japan are encouraged to apply.

1. Eligibility

• Students who will begin their exchange studies in Japan between April and August 2027, for a period of at least 3 months but less than 1 year.

• Applicants must be Taiwanese nationals under the age of 35 (born on or after April 2, 1992) and meet the academic and research requirements specified in the official guidelines.

• Please refer to the official application guidelines for additional eligibility requirements and restrictions.

2. Scholarship Amount

JPY 80,000 per month, for a maximum of one year (until March 2028).

3. Application Deadline

• NDHU Internal Deadline: November 2, 2026 (Monday)

4. Application Procedure

Applicants must prepare and submit all required application documents in both hard copy and electronic formats before the NDHU internal deadline.

• Hard Copy Submission: Please submit the printed documents to the Global Mobility Section, Office of International Affairs (6th Floor, Administration Building).

• Electronic Submission: Please email the application documents to Ms. Pirih Pisaw at issa@gms.ndhu.edu.tw.

All application documents must be submitted by the internal deadline. The Global Mobility Section will coordinate the nomination process and forward the application documents to the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association.
