National Dong Hwa University (NDHU) participated in the 2025 Taiwan Higher Education Fair (East Malaysia Session), held from May 5 to 9. Organized by the Federation of Alumni Associations of Taiwan Universities, Malaysia, the event took place in Kota Kinabalu, the capital of Sabah, and in Miri, Sarawak. The fair received an enthusiastic response from local students and parents eager to explore study opportunities in Taiwan.

Representing NDHU at the event were Dr. Chih-Ching Chiang, Deputy Director of the Office of International Affairs, and Ms. I-Pei Lee from the International Admissions Section. The delegation promoted the university’s academic strengths and internationalization efforts. NDHU's booth drew significant attention at both locations, with a constant stream of visitors seeking information about programs and admissions.

NDHU has established a strong presence in East Malaysia over the years, attracting considerable interest from Malaysian students thanks to its scenic campus, high-quality academic resources, and wide array of English-taught programs. The university has signed scholarship cooperation agreements with several independent high schools in Malaysia to recruit top students and promote bilateral exchange and collaboration. In cooperation with Taiwan’s Ministry of Education and the Overseas Community Affairs Council, NDHU also offers various scholarships and financial aid programs to reduce the financial burden on students, reinforcing its commitment to educational equity.

The education fair in Kota Kinabalu and Miri attracted many first-time attendees who were keen to learn about studying in Taiwan. Visitors expressed strong interest in NDHU’s diverse academic departments, underscoring the university’s broad appeal among students in East Malaysia.

Moving forward, National Dong Hwa University will continue to strengthen its international recruitment efforts and deepen collaboration with partners across Malaysia. The university aims to attract more outstanding students from Southeast Asia and foster a diverse and excellent international learning environment.
