From August 29 to September 1, National Dong Hwa University, led by Professor Te-Sheng Chang, Chief Secretary, together with Assistant Yi-Pei Li from the Office of International Affairs and distinguished alumni currently serving in Thailand’s Ministry of Education, participated in the Education Exhibition in Thailand. Through diverse displays and promotional activities, the university showcased the strengths of Taiwan’s higher education and further strengthened exchanges and cooperation with local schools and communities in Thailand.

In addition to general admissions promotion, this education fair also incorporated the Ministry of Education’s initiatives, such as the “New Specialized Programs” and the “Taiwanese Business Talent Recruitment Program.” Dedicated booths introduced these programs and offered cultural experiences to attract more visitors, presenting the diverse aspects of Taiwan’s higher education. This year, 39 universities from Taiwan participated, along with 12 Taiwanese enterprises, which provided Thai students with consultation on internships and career opportunities, helping them plan their future academic and career paths in Taiwan. The event drew enthusiastic participation from Thai teachers, students, and parents.

During the exhibition, visitors were most interested in English-taught programs, with Computer Science and Information Engineering attracting the greatest attention, followed by Big Data Science programs and the Business Management field—particularly the Department of Business Administration and the Department of International Business, which are especially popular among students in the Bangkok area. National Dong Hwa University’s diverse academic offerings also appealed to students interested in Humanities, Arts, and International Relations, who sought to learn more about related courses and admission details. This highlighted the university’s outstanding achievements and wide influence in the internationalization of higher education.

The participation of National Dong Hwa University in the Thailand Higher Education Forum and Education Exhibition concluded successfully. Faculty and students worked together with enthusiasm and professionalism to share their learning experiences and study journeys, gaining strong support and recognition from many Thai students. Looking ahead, the university hopes to continue attracting high-quality students from Thailand and to expand its presence in the region.
