In 1950 to 1960, Soap industry in Taiwan was booming. Many different soap companies were producing many different flavors of soap. Following the traditional process, tea soap is different from others. In order to give overseas students more insight of local culture with Taiwan host family, Taiwan Hostfamily Program organizes “DIY your own special tea soap”. We invite overseas students and host families get to know each other during the activity and learn Taiwanese history of Soap industry.

(1) Fill out the online application form first, print it out.

(2) Find a school faculty to help you complete the seal part and send it to hostfamily@stust.edu.tw or send your student card photo to hostfamily@stust.edu.tw

(1) All students and families are required to fill out the HEALTH CARE survey to complete the registration. We will send the notification email before 31 October. If you do not confirm the notification email, we will not reserve your place.
學生及家庭須填寫健康問卷才算完成報名，報名結果將於10月31日前以email通知，若無回覆將視同不出席。
(2) Following Government’s COVID-19 Epidemic Prevention policy, please wear masks and we will check your temperature on 7.
根據教育部防疫規定，活動當天需攜帶口罩並實施體溫測量。
(3) This is a half day activity and no meals. Please feel free to invite your host family to have a dinner.
請注意這是半日的活動，無額外供應餐點，歡迎(不強制)會後邀請家庭一起晚餐。
(4) Since our host families are all volunteers, any personal expenses are all at your own cost.
由於我們的接待家庭皆為志工性質，在外所有個人費用需自行負擔。
